Tronscan is the official TRON block explorer and the fastest free way to check a Tron wallet or transaction. Here is everything you can do with a tronscan check.

## Tronscan wallet check

Paste a Tron address into the search bar. The account page shows:

- TRX balance, energy and bandwidth.

- TRC20 tokens — USDT and other tokens with USD value.

- Transactions, TRC20 transfers and Internal transactions tabs.

- Account created date and last activity.

- Permissions — owner and active keys (essential to detect the multisig scam).

- A red risk / blacklist label if Tether has frozen the address or it is a known scam.

## Tronscan TXID / hash lookup

## Tronscan contract verification

Open a token or contract page and check the Contract tab. A green "Verified" badge means the source code matches the deployed bytecode. Real USDT TRC20 is verified and has the address TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t. A token named "USDT" without verification or with a different address is fake.

## Is Tronscan legit and safe?

Yes. Tronscan is operated by the TRON ecosystem and is read-only unless you connect a wallet. It will never ask for a seed phrase. Dangers come from phishing clones (tronscan.org vs. tronscan-org.com etc.) — bookmark the real domain.

## What Tronscan does not do

Tronscan does not compute an AML risk score or trace the source of funds through multiple hops. For that use a verified AML service. Think of Tronscan as the ledger and AML tools as the compliance officer.
